Da FORCE

Da FORCE: group of community members creating solutions to the crises within the Massachusetts juvenile justice system. We seek to eliminate unfair treatment of youth of color and increase our state's use of alternatives to detention. Through this work we will hold the system accountable and build better outcomes for our youth and our communities. To fulfill this mission we: work on campaigns to change policies and practices that are harmful to young people in our communities, work to build alternatives to incarceration to decrease our state's dependency on detention. Da FORCE meets twice per month: one working group meeting to move campaign work forward and one open community space to learn more about the system. Photo titled Da Force
